Currently in Scotland, we have the highest rate of death by suicide in the UK. Scottish culture makes it difficult to approach these subjects with confidence, and that is what we would like to challenge. By normalising the language, educating on what mental health is, and providing insights into why we think and behave the way we do could create a deeper level of understanding, allowing conversations around these topics to become the norm.
We are working on developing workshops which cover topics such as: Understanding depression and anxiety, stress management, resilience building, communication skills, mental health first aid concepts, supporting people with mental health and more. These will be delivered on site in our Kirkcaldy premises.
Our workshops can be adapted to provide work place and community seminars, both in person and online. Topics can be adapted to suit different age ranges.
Our pricing for workshops will be a fee per person, per event. The cost will be listed alongside the event details. Our educational outreach programmes vary on price, and we offer limited free events dependant upon the organisation. Please contact us to find out more.
