I am a student counsellor currently undertaking my HND in Counselling, having successfully completed my HNC in Counselling. I am committed to providing a warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported at their own pace.
My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed, with a strong belief in the importance of building a safe therapeutic relationship based on trust, authenticity, and compassion. I value active listening, professional boundaries, reflective practice, and empowering individuals to explore their experiences in a way that feels right for them.
Alongside my studies, I have gained valuable experience through volunteer roles supporting people within community and addiction services. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of the impact of trauma, mental health challenges, and life transitions, while reinforcing my passion for helping others.
I have a particular interest in working with individuals affected by trauma, addiction, and mental health difficulties, and I am committed to ongoing personal and professional development through supervision, personal therapy, and continuing professional learning. My aim is to offer a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative counselling experience where every person feels valued and accepted.
